Bacon Hangers
Beacon, Inc. has been manufacturing Bacon Hangers for over 55 years, and during that time we have been asked to design special hangers for unique applications or to solve a specific handling problem. The following photos show a few examples of special Combs that we have manufactured. These hangers were designed to work with various types of racks, trees, trucks, serpentine, and conveyor systems.

Screens
Our challenge, considering the ever increasing cost of stainless steel, is to design Screens to carry the maximum weight required using the minimum amount of stainless steel. We are very good at making these determinations. This display of Screens is a tiny sample of a multitude of Screens that Beacon has designed and manufactured over the years to meet the exact specifications of our customers. All screens are manufactured from T-304 electropolished stainless steel. Beacon designs and manufactures both Trucks and their matching Screens to meet the customers needs.

Trucks
BEACON, Inc. designed and manufactured more different specialty Trucks than anyone we know of. Newly designed and/or modification of standard Trucks have been a major part of our business. We help identify the exact specifications of the Truck that best meets your needs, inclusive of the goal of maximizing product capacity of your smokehouse/ovens, and then manufacture it to those specifications.

Racks, Cages, Trees
Beacon designs and manufactures both stationary Racks and Racks that are used for transporting hanging products to all workstations, including smokehouses/ovens. Put the raw product on, meat or poultry, and take the processed product off. The products would include, but are not limited to. Bacon, Ham, Sausage, etc. Pallet or forklift trucks are incorporated to relocate some racks.

Wire Molds
Beacon designs and manufactures electro-polished stainless steel wire molds in a variety of shapes and sizes to form whole muscle, restructured, flaked and formed, chunked, and emulsions. Beacon wire molds have individual cross wire welding for greater durability, allow maximum smoke and heat penetration for faster cooking, and are easy to clean for immediate reuse.

Nesting Baskets and Dollies
Smoking, cooking, chilling, storing or just transporting your product will be made easier with Beacon's Nesting basket and Dollies. Each basket stacks on top of the one below it, but nest inside each other to minimize storage space when not in use.

Pressing Trucks
The Patented IT-100 Insta-Press Pressing Truck presses product up to 7" in diameter to the exact same thickness on all levels. The Insta-Press Truck keeps uniform spring pressure on the product throughout the entire processing cycle. Continuous spring pressure during processing, assists in pressing out any air pockets, resulting in longer shelf life and higher yields.

Smokesticks
Beacon can supply all of the popular smokesticks that are used in the meat processing industry. We manufacture, bellshaped, triangular, rod, and tubular in any length you require.
